Green Cleaning Practices. 

Green Cleaning and Environmental Sustainability is not just about the use of chemicals. It is about a combination of safety, economic, equipment and procedural components.

• Safety for building occupants ; improved comfort, health, air-quality & safety.

• Safety for cleaning staff ; correct training on chemical handling & storage equipment usage.

• Safety for the environment (to create minimal pollution) ; enhance & protect ecosystems, improve air & water quality. Reduction of solid waste. Conservation of natural resources.

• Economic ; reduce operating costs, enhance asset value & profit, improve employee productivity and satisfaction.

• Products |  Disposable Paper Products ; "Green Seal" or GECA certified products. a) Use of low volatile organic compounds, b) use of concentrates with dispensing equipment, c) processed chlorine free, large rolls d) hands free dispensers that limit paper. 

• Equipment ; Vacuum cleaners with HEPA filters, auto Scrubbers equipped with variable speed pumps and environmentally preferable batteries (gel batteries), micro-fibre cloths & mops, recycled containers, buckets, carts, mats.

Green Cleaning Work Practices.   

Eternal Cleaning Services employs a number of  Sustainable Green Work Practices in relation to our cleaning services including:

• I Auditor : An Inspection Checklist App enabling staff to conduct an audit to ensure all tasks completed which is signed off by the building manager

• SinePro : an online application all of our cleaners use to sign in on allowing Eternal Cleaning to have a greater visibility of our workforce ( eliminates paper sign in books.)

Green Cleaning Machinery.

Eternal Cleaning uses Energy Efficient Machinery including:

• The PacVac Superprowispa 700 vacuum cleaner with a Hypercone HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter. This has been specifically designed for environmentally green cleaning, fitted with an energy and volume control switch.  HEPA filters provide a very high level of filtration efficiency removing 99.9% of all airborne particles and allergens.

• Micro-fibre cloths and mops where practicable. (they hold 8 times their weight in water, with an exceptional ability to absorb oils.) Their electro-static properties give them a high dust-attracting power.  Scientific tests prove that using micro-fibre materials (without the use of chemicals) to clean a surface leads to reducing the number of bacteria by 99%.

• I-mop’s used where and when possible

• I-gum backpack chewing gum removal machine. ( specially designed brush emits a pH neutral and safe chemical steam mixture to evaporate the chewing gum, which can then be brushed away)

Green Cleaning Products. 

We have consciously chosen to use chemicals from AGAR Cleaning Systems (who developed the world's most effective toxin free commercial cleaning products by infusing it with ozone. ) This stabilised aqueous ozone eliminates germs, odours, stains, mould and other contaminants on any item or surface before changing safely back into water and oxygen.

AGAR are accredited by GECA and also have AS / NZ9001 accreditation.
